The membership is made up of 6 different categories, those  being:

1)    CHARTER MEMBER  is one of the founding first 25 registered Special Forces Tabbed, or pre SF tab MOS with suffix "S" or "3", and documented dues paying individuals.   A Charter Member can sponsor as many prospective members in any category of membership in any given period of time,  other than WIFE which can only be sponsored by her spouse.   After the initial first 25 Charter Members have taken their positions then a majority vote is required to disapprove  new members.   Voting is based on one vote per Charter Member.

 2)   MEMBER is a Special Forces Tabbed, or pre SF tab MOS with suffix "S" or "3",  or 18 prefix, and a documented dues paying individual in good standing.

 

A Member may sponsor an unlimited number of other Special Forces  prospects but is limited to  2 SUPPORT MEMBERS, 2 ASSOCIATE MEMBERS in any given year.  The year beginning January 1st and ending on December 31st.  Sponsorship of one’s spouse is not counted.    It will be the responsibility of the sponsoring Member to send written documentation and recommendation for any prospect that they sponsor.  All membership categories have a probationary period of 30 days from the date of the post marked documentation mailing.  The sponsoring Member will be held accountable for actions of their prospect during this probationary period. 

 3) SUPPORT MEMBER is any individual who served with or in direct support of a Special Forces Unit in any capacity, but was not Tabbed Special Forces. The prospective member could also have supported other military units under SOCOM in any branch of the military.  Any individual who has shown dedication to the club and our cause by consistently attending and supporting club events and functions.  The individual also has shown likeminded thinking also consistent with the organizations standards and ethics.  Any support prospective member must have a member sponsor and be invited to apply for membership by that sponsor.

 4) ASSOCIATE MEMBER   is any individual that served in a Special Operations Unit, in any  branch  of  military service, ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE, MARINES, or COAST GUARD under  the United States Special Operations Command.....

 5) HONORARY MEMBER  granted to those that have given exceptional service to our country, our club, our cause.  All MEDAL OF HONOR, SILVER STAR, and NAVY CROSS/DSC recipients, verified former POW’s (on a case by case basis), POTUS, and public and private individuals who have dedicated special support to USSF.   Only CHARTER MEMBERS can nominate and vote on HONORARY MEMBERS.

6) WIFE is sponsored by her spouse and is self explanatory.
